Sea Walls-Moment-in-time

In Room 5, we were thinking about community and we had done some learning on Caritas.

We had a few different images of climate change (flooding in Papua New Guinea) and did some moment in time writing with the images.
This my Moment time

White sand bags scattered, the sea wall that this village had made has been broken, the flood was too strong. The sea has calmed down and I can hear the splashes of waves against the tide. A man is there, wearing a yellow striped, black t-shirt with a white outline, with bright red shorts on. He is gazing at me with cold icy worried eyes, with a straight face. The creamy soft coloured sand, filled with rocks brushes against my feet. The sky blue sky overfilled with clouds. The wind whistling softly, the daylight sunlight is beaming against me. The washed up shells are covered in sand.
